12047: Kenneth Mackenzie
Coinneach Choinnich Eachainn
Kenneth (1812-1876) was a son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Mary Maclean, Buanish. The family lived for a time at Orinsay but were evicted and removed to 8 Old Lemreway in order to make room for the expanding sheep farm.
In Lochs, in 1835, he married Annabella Gillies, 5 Old Orinsay. Kenneth and Annabella were Cottars at 5 Old Orinsay and in 1839 were removed to 33 Old Ranish.
Kenneth and Annabella had six children and in 1853 the family emigrated to Canada and settled at Bruce County, Ontario.
