Catherine (1928-2021) was a daughter of Donald Maclennan and Mary Ann Matheson, 36b Cliff. She trained as a nurse and was a district nurse in the Lochs area for many years.

Catherine married Colin John Maciver, 11 Laxay, where they settled. They had a son and daughter. During her latter illness Catherine was cared for in Blar Buidhe Nursing Home. Due to Covid restrictions her family in Canada could not attend the funeral service and it was live streamed.
