12038: Murdo Mackenzie
Murdo Mackenzie (1801-1864) was a son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Mary Maclean, Buanish. The family lived for a time at Orinsay before moving to 8 Old Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1820, he married Catherine Macdonald, 6 Old Orinsay. Murdo and Catherine were Cotters on 6 Old Orinsay and they had seven children.
Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 15 Crossbost.
