Roderick Callum Macleod
Roderick Callum Macleod (1902-1982) was a son of Rev. Donald Smith Macleod and Kate Isles Rodger Wylie, Tarbat Manse, Portmahomack.
In 1922 he emigrated to South America, settling at Demerera. Roderick was an Overseer on a Sugar Plantation at Demerara, British Guiana. He returned to Scotland in 1938.
In 1939 he enlisted in the Cameron Highlanders and served as a Lieutenant at Inverness Barracks. At Inverness, in 1941, he married Williamina Beattie. The couple had three children.
After the War Roderick worked for the Forestry Commission.
