Marion (born 1877) was a daughter of William Mackay, 2 Achmore and Marion McSween, 7 Leurbost. It is believed the family lived at Stornoway. Her mother died in 1893.
In Partick, in 1906, she married John Macleod, 6 Lemreway. At that time Marion's family home was at 8 James Street, Whiteinch, Glasgow
Marion and John settled at 991 Dumbarton Road, Glasgow and they had a son, Ian.
The family later emigrated to Australia.
Marion's sister, Williamina, married John's brother, Donald and they also emigrated to Australia.
