David Macinnes (1934-2018) was a son of Malcolm Macinnes and Christina Macmillan, 2 Lemreway.
His mother died in 1943 and his father in 1945. David and his sister Christina were brought up by their maternal grandparents at 32 Lemreway.
David married a woman from Balallan in 1967; the couple had three children.
After David’s ordination as a Church of Scotland minister he was inducted at Kinloch in 1968.
The family moved to Gardener Street, Glasgow in 1977 and then to Balranald, North Uist in 1996.
