118996: Catherine Maclean

Catherine (born 1811) was the elder daughter of the same name of Malcolm Maclean and Ann Maclean, 13 Old Mangersta. She was the second wife of Donald Macaulay, Baile na Cille and they lived as cottars on 13 Old Mangersta.

In 1843, they emigrated to Winslow Township in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. They had six children:

Ann 1838-1851; Kenneth born 1840 married 1. Isabella ex Ungeshader 2. Catherine Maciver; Malcolm born 1843 married Mary Macdonald ex Upper Shader; Catherine born 1845 married Roderick Macaskill ex Gress; William born 1847 married Ann Macaulay ex North Shawbost.
