Angus, born 1826, was the son of John Morrison and Flora Paterson of Borve. The site of their home was later known as Tobhta Fhionnghala ni' Shomhairle. He emigrated to Australia with his widowed mother and siblings in 1855, sailing on the Royal Albert.
