Lewis (1811-1903) was a son of Donald Macrae and Annabella Nicolson, 3 Habost.
In Lochs, in 1833, he married Annabella Macrae from Crobeg. Lewis and Annabella settled at 8 Habost and they had a son John in 1835.
Lewis was widowed in 1835 and in 1838 married Mary Smith, Seaforth Head. Lewis and Mary had four children.
