116901: Ann Shaw

Ann, born 1806, was the daughter of John Shaw and Mary MacLeod of Borve. Ann married Neil Morrison, also of Borve, with whom she was to have four children. The family was living in Borve in 1841, emigrating to Cape Breton during the 1840s, either to Framboise or Loch Lomond.  Ann’s siblings emigrated to Loch Lomond in 1842. It’s likely that Ann and Neil emigrated the same year.
