Christina, born 1853, was the daughter of John MacLeod and Mary MacKay of Borve. The family probably lived at the site later known as Tobhta Iain ‘ic Ailein. Around the time of Christina’s birth, the family was moved to 2 Lickisto, Harris.
In 1874 Christina married Malcolm MacKinnon of 5 Cluer. They made their home at 40 Northton.
