Catherine (1944-2014) was a daughter of Murdo Buchanan and Peggy Macritchie, 14 Brenish. Catherine's first husband was Donald Angus Mackay, 14 Garrabost and they had one daughter. They lived in a few places, wherever Donald carried out his ministry. When Donald's health failed they relocated to Inverness.
Catherine's second husband was from Belfast, Ireland, where they lived.
