116122: Roderick Morrison

Roderick (born 1816) was a son of Angus Morrison and Mary Macleod, 12 0ld Brenish and later 1 Brenish. He married Mary Morrison, Old Carnish and they lived at 19 0ld Brenish. They had six children: Christina born 1840; Margaret born 1841; Mary born 1843; Ann born 1846; John born 1848 and Malcolm born 1851.

They relocated to 17/18 Brenish when the village was relotted in 1949. Roderick divided 17/18 with his brother, Donald and Roderick became tenant of 18 Brenish.

In 1851, Roderick and family emigrated to Winslow Township in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
