Margaret (born 1796) was married to John Macdonald and they lived at 17 Old Brenish. They had five children: Kenneth born 1814; Malcolm born  1818; Effie born 1821; Angus born 1824 and John born 1826.

In 1841, they emigrated to Lingwick Township in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
