Margaret (1820-1902) was a daughter of Malcolm Smith and Mary Mackenzie, 60 Old Balallan now 65 Balallan.
In 1840 she married Malcolm Macleod, 11 Balallan. Margaret and Malcolm settled at 64 Balallan and they had twelve children. The family were evicted to 2 Habost on the whim of factor, Donald Munro.
