115151: Mary Macleod

Mary (born 1808) was a daughter of Donald Macleod and Ann Maciver, 3 Old Brenish. She was married to John Macleod, 9 Mealista, where they lived as cottars before relocating to 25 Old Brenish in 1837. They had five children – Christina born 1831; Donald 1833-1899; Ann born 1835; Malcolm 1839-1900.

In 1843, they emigrated to Lingwick Township in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, where their son, Angus, was born in 1844.
