114893: John Macaulay

John Macaulay taught at Sgoil na Leddies, from 1877 to 1878; so, we can assume he was a divinity student working for the Edinburgh Ladies Highland Association during his college vacations.

He received much kindness from the people during his short stay in Tolsta. He was the last of the teachers at Sgoil na Leddies; his parting gift was a large quantity of cured ling.
