Ann Morrison
Ann, born 1828, was the daughter of John Morrison and Flora Paterson of Borve. The site of their home was later known as Tobhta Fhionnghala ni' Shomhairle. Ann married Donald Campbell of Brusda, with whom she had two sons, born 1846 and 1849. Her husband, a fisherman, drowned sometime before the 1851 census, in which Ann appears as a widow, living with her mother. In 1855 Ann and her two sons emigrated to Australia on the Royal Albert with her mother and siblings.
