Donald MacAskill was one of two with the same name who tenanted a croft in Ruisgarry in 1818. This individual is identified as ‘Donald MacAskill jnr’, holding a single croft with annual rental of £6.12.6. It is supposed that he emigrated sometime before 1830, possibly to Cape Breton.
