Catherine Morrison married Norman Ferguson, who had emigrated from Berneray to Cape Breton. They lived at Fergusons’ Lake with their eight children: Mary born 1836, Roderick born 1839, Rachel born 1841, Neil born 1845, Donald born 1848, Ann born 1851, Malcolm born 1853 and Sarah born 1854.
