113359: Elizabeth Strachan
Elizabeth Strachan, born 1835 in L’Ardoise, was the daughter of John Strachan and Mary MacAskill. Her first husband was John MacLeod. In 1859 she married widower Donald Ferguson of Framboise, with whom she had eight children. By 1881 they had moved to Little Bras d’Or, moving to Boston, Massachusetts in 1890, where Elizabeth passed away in 1894. She was buried at Gethsemane Cemetery.
