113219: Norman MacLeod
Norman, born 1797, was the son of Alexander MacLeod and Effie Paterson of Borve and Ruisgarry. He became a farmer with his own tenancy in Ruisgarry in 1830, paying annual rental of £5.12.6.
Norman married Chirsty MacKillop of Borve. Together they had at least six children. During the 1840s, with the re-organisation of Ruisgarry’s many small plots into larger ones, the family was moved to 5c Deiraclete, Harris.
