Catherine, born 1811, was the daughter of Angus Morrison and Catherine MacLeod of Rodel and Ruisgarry. She married John MacLeod of Ruisgarry, where they made their home. Together they were to have seven children. They left the area following the re-organisation of the crofts, moving to 25 Newmarket in 1848.
