112815: Mary Ann MacKinnon

Mary Ann, born 1848, was the daughter of John MacKinnon and Christina MacKinnon of 1 Flodabay. In 1865 she married Donald MacLeod, Harris, with whom she was to have eight children. When Donald’s sister Effie and husband moved from a cottar’s house on 1 Flodabay in 1875, the house was passed to Donald and Mary Ann instead. Donald and Mary Ann also lived in Borve, Harris at one stage.
