Marion, born 1796, was the daughter of Roderick Ferguson and Margaret MacLeod of old Ruisgarry. Her father died when Marion was still a child, and her mother remarried.
Marion remained unmarried, living as a farmer and cottar in Ruisgarry, close to her half-sister Mary MacAskill. Marion is believed to have died about 1845.
