Sarah MacDermid
Sarah MacDermid, the daughter of William MacDermid and Chirsty Shaw, was born in 1842 soon after her parents emigrated from Berneray to Cape Breton.
In 1867 Sarah married John MacLeod of Skye in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Together they were to have eight children. Sarah passed away at River Denys in 1881.
