John Macleod (born c1919) was the son of Mary Macleod of Pairc Dhànaidh, Hill Street, North Tolsta.

After his birth his mother married Donald Mitchell, and moved to Loch Fyne, but it is not known John ever lived with them there.

He emigrated to New Zealand.
