Lewis Mackinnon
Lewis (1827-1902) was a son of Donald Mackinnon, and Catherine Maclennan, from Harris. He was born in Lochs and the family settled at 4 Caverstay.
In Lochs, in 1852, he married his first cousin Christina Mackay from Leverburgh. Lewis and Christina settled at 3 Caverstay and they had six children.
Lewis was widowed in 1872 and in 1874 married Barbara Kemp (nee Montgomery), a widow from Balallan. The couple had two children.
