Norman (1920-1980) from 43 Coll, Back, while working on Hydro Schemes in Pitlochry met and married Annie Macleod, 8 Crowlista. They settled in Annie's family home and had a son and two daughters.

Norman was an excellent handyman and plasterer. He worked on many houses in Uig especially at the time houses were being upgraded as he was good at rendering.
