John Angus (1925-1990) was a son of John Maciver and Marion Macleod, 10 Crowlista. He moved with his family to 8 Crowlista. He was married to Jean Macleod, his first cousin from Manchester and they had no family. They lived at Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, where John Angus was a schoolmaster before continuing his career at Hopeman, Morayshire.
