Angus (c1854-1940) was the elder son of the same name of Norman Macleod and Marion Macleod, 10 Brenish. He married Christina Macdonald, 18 Crowlista and they lived there in Christina's father's household. On the death of Christina's Uncle Norman, they moved to his house at  no. 8 and Angus assumed tenancy of the croft.

Angus and Christina had three sons and three daughters. They also had a son Johnnie who died in infancy of pneumonia. His sister Johanna was called after him.
