110555: Angus Smith

Angus Smith was from Uig; he married an Ann Macdonald and the first of their six children was born in 1786.

It is not known where the family lived until very late in their marriage; in 1830 they obtained 4 Old North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft. They may have been living in Old South Tolsta Tack prior to this; it is unclear as there is one Angus Smith listed as a tenant in Old South Tolsta Tack during 1820, but three Angus Smiths later got crofts.

Angus was a soldier and then a Chelsea pensioner.
