Catherine (born 1832) was the daughter of Murdo Graham and Catherine Macritchie; it is not clear where the family were living at the time of her birth. Her mother was from 2 Old Melbost and her father from 6/7 Borve.

By 1841 the census records the family at 10 Old South Galson, but later that year they emigrated to Canada and settled in Lingwick Township.

She married Murdo Maciver who emigrated to Quebec, in 1841, from 20 Old North Tolsta.

After she was widowed she married John Macdonald, who was also originally from Tolsta.
 

She has a wikitree profile. It gives her date of marriage to Murdo Maciver as 17th of January 1853, in Lingwick Township, Compton. On the 25th of December 1870, in Lake Megantic, their daughter Rachel was born. Catherine was widowed in 1888. On the 10th of November 1890 Catherine married John Macdonald.
