Norman (born 1923) was a son of John Macleod and Catherine Macdonald, 4 Mangersta. He served in the Seaforth Highlanders during the Second World War and a record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1939-1945.

Norman later bought the Nurse's Cottage at Mangersta and lived there. He was unmarried.
