Donald (1866-1935) was a son of Angus Macaulay and his second wife Margaret Morrison, 2 Islivig. He was married to Christina Maclennan, 18 Brenish and they lived there as cottars. They had eight children and triplets born 1909 ( Peter, Norman and Joan), who died in infancy.
They relocated to 3 Mangersta when the village was relotted in 1911.
