Donald (1781-c1853) was a son of Norman Morrison and Janet Morrison, 5 Mealista. His first marriage was to Peggy Gillies, 8 Old Brenish and they had six children. His second marriage was to Isabella Gillies, 17 Old Brenish and they had six children.
In 1837, when Mealista was cleared, the family moved to 11 Old Brenish. They relocated to 22 Brenish when the village was relotted in 1849.
