Kate Isles Rodger Wylie

Kate Isles  (1863-1935) was a daughter of  Jean Isles, 203 Stobcross Street, Glasgow. Her father was Andrew Fyfe Wylie a married man from Kilmarnock. Kate was known as Kate Isles Rodger Wylie. Her mother later married John Rodger.

At Maryhill, in 1885, she married Donald Smith Macleod, 18 Cromore. The couple took up the living at Tarbat Church, Portmahomack and they had thirteen children.

Donald retired in 1920 and the couple moved to Crossowen, Clynder.

Kate was widowed in 1930.

Kate's half sister, Elizabeth Rodger, is married to Donald's brother, Kenneth.
