Donald (1870-1927) was a son of Louis Mackenzie and Kirsty Macinnes, 20 Achmore. The family moved to 1 Callanish in 1885. Donald moved to Stirling and worked on the Railway.
He married Isabella Maclean from Thornton and they settled at Stirling where they had their first child who died in infancy. The couple moved to Springburn, Possilpark area of Glasgow where they had their daughter, Christina.
