Finlay MacCuish
Finlay, born 1888, was the son of John MacCuish and Margaret MacLeod of Backhill. He served in the Royal Naval Reserves, and also crewed on his brother-in-law’s boat, the Kelvin. A witty man, he was renowned for his tall stories.
