Finlay MacLeod
Finlay MacLeod, born 1910, was the youngest child of Roderick MacLeod and Effie Campbell of Backhill. He attended Berneray School between 1916 and 1924, leaving for Kingussie School. Subsequently he became a minister of the parish of Croy. With his first wife, Margaret MacInnes of 6 Scarp he had a daughter. The family lived at Lairg.
At Edinburgh in 1952 Reverend Finlay married his second wife, Eva Kellie, a deaconess. They continued to live at Lairg, later moving to Avoch.
