Malcolm John Macritchie

Malcolm John (1918-1955), locally known as Calum Iain, was a son of Malcolm Macritchie and Mary Maclennan, 3b Aird. He moved with his family to 11 Ardroil in the early 1920s.

Malcolm served in the Royal Naval Reserve during the Second World War and a record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1939-1945.

He married Christina Maclennan, 10 Ardroil and after their marriage shared part of the house at number 11. They had two sons and a daughter.
