Norman Montgomery (1808-1900) was the fourth child of Donald Montgomery and Margaret Macleod 17 Old Leurbost.
In Lochs, in 1830, he married Margaret Matheson, 23 Old Gravir. Norman and Margaret were cottars at 23 Old Gravir where they had four of their six children. After the death of his father in 1842 the family moved to 17 Old Leurbost. In the 1853 lotting Norman obtained 30 Leurbost.
Norman was widowed in 1885.
