Morag was the daughter of Alexander MacAskill and Lexy MacKillop of 2 Rhuvanish and Glasgow.

She married watchmaker Angus Morrison of Uddingston and Tarbert, with whom she had two children. Morag was passed the house at Rhuvanish following her parents’ death, and it was subsequently passed to her daughter.
