105495: Norman Dugald Cameron MacLeod

Norman was born in 1886, the eldest child of Archibald MacLeod and Ann MacKillop of ‘house 63’ Pol an Oir. He became a farm servant, living at ‘house 64’, next to his parents.

He later served in the Royal Naval Reserves during the Great War, working as a deckhand on the minesweeper HMS Ludlow. He died of illness on 17th August 1916. His home was passed to his youngest sister Margaret.
