Mary Belle, born in 1910, was the daughter of Donald MacAskill and Annie Morrison of Ferry and later 23 Borve. She was a pupil at Berneray School between 1917 and 1924.
Mary Belle married Angus MacKenzie from 2 Sruthan Ruadh, Malaclete, where they made their home.
