Christina MacKinnon from Scadabay in Harris married Alexander MacMillan of 22 Borve (Sandpoint). They were to have four children together. Alexander inherited the croft following his parents’ death but gave it up in due course, in order to become a missionary for the Church of Scotland. He served at Malacleit between 1956 and 1966, and also Carinish and Amhuinnsuidhe, Harris before retiring to 2 Deiraclete, Harris.
