Barbara, born c1858, was a daughter of Donald Smith from Drovinish and Mary Macaulay from Valtos, who lived at Deanston, Lochganvich. Barbara emigrated with the family to Southampton, Ontario. Barbara married Malcolm Matheson (formerly from High Borve, Lewis) in Ontario.
