Malcolm Morrison was the son of Donald Morrison and Lexy Campbell of 3 Borve, Berneray. Born in 1913, he started attending Berneray School in 1919.
Malcolm married Jessie MacLean from Broadford, Skye, with whom he was to have three children. The family lived in Gourock.
