Catherine (born 1849) was a daughter of John Macleod and Ann Nicolson of of 11 Upper Shader.
Catherine married John Ferguson of 5/6 Eoropie. The couple settled at 33 Upper Shader and had two daughters and a son.
After John Ferguson’s death in 1874, Catherine became the second wife of James Paterson, of Goathill Road, Stornoway.
