Angus Maciver was a son of Norman Maciver and Mary Mackenzie,  2 Upper Carloway.

He emigrated to the United States of America and settled at Chinook, Montana.  He lived on a cattle ranch with land he obtained through the Montana Homestead Act (320 Acres each).
